Get ready for an all-inclusive family weekend of fire, food, camping, butchery and good times.

Your Family Ticket includes entry for 2 adults and 2 children under 12, with food, camping and activities across the weekend all included.

This isn’t your standard BBQ masterclass. We’re spending the entire weekend on the property, cooking over live fire, learning where our meat comes from, eating ridiculously well and finishing it all around a massive campfire.

Located in the Macarthur region of south-western Sydney, approximately 15 minutes from Camden, you’ll get the full country-property experience without having to travel hours from Sydney.

And yep — bring the kids! We’ll have plenty happening throughout the weekend to keep them entertained and involved.

FRIDAY – ARRIVE, SETTLE IN & FEAST

Arrive Friday afternoon, set up camp and settle in for the weekend.

We’ll kick things off Friday night with a feast, a few beers for the adults and plenty of time for everyone to meet each other before we start preparing for the huge cook ahead on Saturday.

SATURDAY – THE BIG COOK

Saturday is where we really get stuck into it.

Throughout the day we’ll be cooking and learning together, including:

• A whole hog cooked the traditional way over a cinder block pit
• Full smoked briskets
• Tomahawk steaks
• Skirt steak
• Picanha
• Heaps of sides
• Live-fire cooking
• And we might even sneak in a pretty epic dessert

You won’t just be standing around watching either. Camp & Cook is all about getting involved, asking questions, learning and enjoying the entire process from start to finish.

WHOLE BEEF BUTCHERY WITH WORLD CHAMPION BUTCHER BRETT LAWS

This is going to be something pretty special.

Throughout Saturday, World Champion Butcher Brett Laws will be breaking down a whole beef on site, taking you through the animal from start to finish.

Brett will show you where the different cuts actually come from, how they’re broken down, what to look for and the techniques professional butchers use every day. He’ll also be sharing plenty of tips, tricks and knowledge along the way while demonstrating the true art of butchery.

It’s a rare opportunity for adults and kids alike to see where their food actually comes from and watch an entire beef being broken down right in front of them.

SOMETHING FOR THE KIDS TOO

Camp & Cook is designed to be a weekend the whole family can enjoy.

We’ll have activities happening throughout Saturday for the kids, including a hayride through the pastures and amongst the cattle on the property.

It’s a chance for them to get outside, explore the farm, see the cattle up close and enjoy a proper country weekend while the adults get stuck into the cooking and butchery.

SATURDAY NIGHT CAMPFIRE

Once the cooking is done and everyone is well fed, we’ll wind things down around a massive Saturday night campfire.

Pull up a chair, grab a drink and settle in for a proper night under the stars.

BEER INCLUDED FOR THE ADULTS 🍻

Beer throughout the weekend is included for adults thanks to the legends at Mountain Culture Brewing Co., voted Australia’s #1 beer four years running.

You’re also more than welcome to BYO your own drinks for the weekend.

YOUR OWN MEAT PACK – VALUE APPROX. $150

Your Family Ticket also includes a meat pack valued at approximately $150, sourced directly from the cattle raised on the property.

Your pack will be ready when you arrive. You can cook some of it yourself during the weekend or take the whole thing home and enjoy it later.

GOODIE BAG INCLUDED

Your ticket also includes a goodie bag thanks to the teams at Weber Home Fires and Victorinox Australia, with some awesome gear to remember the weekend by.

CAMPING & ACCOMMODATION – SWAGS, TENTS & CARAVANS WELCOME

There’s plenty of room on the property for the whole family, so whether you’re rolling out the swags, pitching a tent or bringing the family caravan, you’re more than welcome.

Caravans are absolutely welcome, and we’ll do our best to accommodate everyone’s setup and power requirements.

Shower blocks and toilet facilities will be available on site throughout the entire weekend, so you can camp comfortably with the family without having to completely rough it.

Not much of a camping family? No worries. A local hotel within approximately 20 minutes of the venue will be offering special accommodation rates exclusively for Camp & Cook guests. Further booking details and the special rate will be provided to ticket holders.

The property is located in the Macarthur region of south-western Sydney, approximately 15 minutes from Camden, making it easy to get to while still giving the family a proper weekend away on the land.

After purchasing your ticket, we’ll send you a short attendee survey and event waiver to complete. The survey will include details about your family, camping setup, caravan size and any power requirements so we can plan the site appropriately before the weekend.

SUNDAY – BREAKFAST & HEAD HOME

After a massive Saturday, we’ll wake up Sunday morning, get the fire going again and enjoy breakfast together.

From there, there’s no rush. Pack up camp, have a yarn, let the kids enjoy their last bit of time on the property, and everyone can make their way home by around lunchtime.
